as well as the larger hearing community.

Most people have a peripheral knowledge
of deafness and Deaf people
until they need to know more..
Like when they become a business owner, meet a new friend
or someone in their family is born or becomes deaf.

A lot of the information out there
comes from a second hand or an outsider’s perspective. 
Or worse, there’s an attempt to speak for Deaf people –
by people who are not.

Deaf and hearing loss resources should have our input.
